I have been wanting to photograph here for forever, so when Elizabeth emailed and suggested it for her maternity session, I was so excited! We went first thing in the morning to avoid the crowds and the heat. The lotuses had arrived and they looked perfect standing amid the blooms.
I gotta say, I am thoroughly impressed with these kids. I was not this wise or mature at their age and I certainly had no idea what the future held for me. Listening to these kids speak so eloquently about their hopes and dreams is inspirational and I look forward to it each year.
A few years ago Corporate Brokers hired me to photograph and video their office in Annapolis for use on their website. We spent two days in various settings capturing office life for this young and vibrant company. This year they needed some updated portraits of their new employees.
I love photographing this event each year. There are kids excitedlyrunning everywhere, Disney characters greeting everyone, all the cookies I can eat, I mean kid-themed food for the guests to enjoy. Then families get to go see Disney on Ice and I get to recover from the pandemonium. All for a good cause.
When everyone’s out of town in December, you have your holiday party in February!
