I couldn’t help but reminisce back to my own middle school experience as I stood on the precipice of the summer before high school. I somehow felt these kids were way more prepared than I as I listened to their speeches and photographed their awards. The proud smiles, the embarrassed attention, pictures with family and friends. So much excitement packed into a two hour program.
It's kind of an inside joke how long we've been trying to schedule this family session. Calendar conflicts, inclement weather, a year long hiatus. Yet, somehow we managed to pick a near perfect day where Centennial Park was not overrun with family picnics, joggers and cyclists. They do not even look like they are suffering in the ninety degree heat. How is that possible? I don't know about you but I think it was worth the wait. This session turned out beautifully.
